Prerequisites: Knowledge of RPGIV on the iSeries and some familiarity with
ILE.
Audience: Programmers with some RPGIV experience
Description: The purpose of this course is to explore the ILE programming environment
in detail. It is assumed that the students are experienced iSeries RPGIV
programmers. This class will review how to create and use service programs and
sub procedures, how to determine what activation group to use, and how to simplify
managing your programs in an ILE environment. The course also introduces an object-oriented
programming model similar to Java.
