Prerequisites: iSeries Basic Overview & PDM, Operations, and CL Programming. Students must
have an understanding of the iSeries operating environment, job queues, output queues, subsystems, etc.
Audience: This course is designed for operators and supervisors who
are concerned with minimizing response time and throughput.
Description: Work Management controls the flow of work into the
system. The purpose of this course is to enable students to use work
management tools to set up, tune, and modify the flow of work to fit
the environment.

- The basic tuning principles
- The processes for integrating work management functions
- The use of work management tools to maximize application performance
