Prerequisites: RPG/400 Interactive Programming, or knowledge of RPG/400 on the iSeries. Must be familiar with PDM and SEU.
Audience: Experienced iSeries RPG programmers (Sub-file experience is NOT necessary)
Description: The purpose of this course is to introduce the RPG IV programming language
on the iSeries to experienced RPG/400 programmers. It covers modifications of some of
the existing RPG/400 characteristics and the new functions and techniques incorporated in RPG IV.
This class also includes hands-on examples of how to use the interactive source code debugger as
well as the concept and use of modules, bound calls, service programs, activation groups and
sub procedures.
